Wintersafari with musk ox & Moose
From november to march we arrange winter safaris. Join us on a unique safari and experience the muskox or moose - or perhaps both? - in beautiful winter sceneries!
muskox safari
Muskox are mighty animals all year round, but it is in the winter that these arctic animals really come into their own. The trip takes place in Dovrefjell National Park, where you visit the muskox with a private guide, who knows the area well and ensures safety.
The trip takes about 5-6 hours, and due to the conditions and ascent along the way, it is recommended to use snowshoes. Snowshoes can be rented before the hike for NOK 100 per person. Minimum age for this trip is 13 years.
Moose safari
Our local guides take you to the area surrounding Dovrefjell Nationalpark to find the “ king of the forest”. The guide drives a car, which makes this safari very comfortable, regardless the weather.
