What to expect
Lesjaleira in Lesja is a valuable area for animal and bird life. The wetland area is particularly important for migrating waders and ducks, and approximately 170 bird species have been observed in the area, of which 70 are nesting.
Lesjaleira has a special history, and along the way the guide will explain what makes this area so special, as well as what kind of species you can expect. The trip takes about 4.5 hours. The safari is arranged as a bus trip, and is therefore suitable for anyone with an interest in birds. The bus stops when observing interesting birds, and we don't walk far from the bus. The guide brings a telescope for spotting animals and birds.
What to bring
Bring lunch and something to drink, as well as warm clothes and water-repellent shoes. Bring binoculars if you have them!
