LECTURE

Prior to the moose safari, the lecture "Antlers, Hoofs and Hides" is held at Hjerkinnhus.

Here a guide tells about differences and similarities and shows skins, hooves and antlers from musk, elk, reindeer, deer and roe deer. Full-scale models of old reindeer and falconry facilities are also shown here, and the guide explains the facilities' historical significance. Attendees get the opportunity to touch and feel the objects, photograph and ask questions. Lasts about 1 hour, this is educational for everyone, but may be especially suitable for children and young adults.

The lecture is held every day during the period 20.06. to 20.08: 18.00 in Norwegian and 19.00 in English.
